We love making this with 2 – 8 oz blocks of softened cream cheese and turning it into a cheese ball. We serve this with any type of cracker.
This mix is very bold, you can smell and taste the garlic prominently. If you aren’t a garlic, bold dip lover, this one might be too strong for you. We haven’t tried it using more of the add ins (sour cream, mayo, cream cheese, etc…). That might tone it down, but it really is the best made according to the instructions we include.
DIP: Combine 1 cup of sour cream and 1 cup of real mayonnaise (not Miracle Whip) with 1 mix. Dip will be bitter at first, refrigerate several hours. Serve with veggies, chips, pretzels. Great with baked potatoes.
CHEESEBALL: Beat mix with 16 oz cream cheese (room temp). Refrigerate several hours.
Salad dressing: Add milk to the dip directions.
Light version: Use light or fat free ingredients.
ING: Dehydrated garlic, minced onion, salt, garlic powder, chives, spices, citric acid.
